Cooling Tower Pack Cleaning

Dirty Pack in a cooling towers can reduce the cooling efficiency of the tower significantly in very large towers the losses can amount to as much as £100k per degree, so that a 3oC cooling loss can mean up to £300k/year.

Pack can be cleaned in three ways: Chemical Foam: once-through Chemical Washing: recirculation Water Washing: by section or whole towers ChemKleen: Automatic Chemical washing of pack Online Cleaning: Pack cleaning during operation

One or a combination of the above methods would be used depending on the type of fouling, volume, age of the pack, pack design.
