Micro sampling for PWTAG
Pools and spas need to be sampled on a monthly basis for TVCs at 37°C (coliforms, E. coli and Pseudomonas) to comply with PWTAG. We will visit your site take the samples and leave a report that shows free chlorine, pH, bather load and water clarity at the time of sampling, these will then be tested at a UKAS accredited lab within 24 hours and the results reported back to you with any recommendations if needed. |
Chemicals
We can supply all the chemicals that are needed to treat your swimming pool or spa from pH control, chlorine, PAC, in liquid, tablet or powder form as you require. We can also supply pool dosing equipment, pumps, tanks, bunds, mixers, and injectors.
Balance Tank Cleaning
Balance tanks on swimming pools and spas must be cleaned on a regular basis and this usually requires that personnel enter the tank to do this physically, this requires that they are confined space trained and there are a number of other workers there for safety, this is not the safest method and it all adds to the cost, we have a developed a method where entry to the tank is not required, the use of specialist chemicals and cleaning equipment will leave your balance tank clean, sanitised and fit for purpose, carried out in a safer and more cost effective method, contact us for more information on how we do this.
Spa Cleaner
Spas are required to be super chlorinated every week under the HPA guidance on the management of Spa baths, this is largely ineffective due to the fact that Chlorine cannot penetrate Biofilm that is in the system. This occurs all over but primarily is present in the flexible pipework that feeds that water jets. This can harbour all kinds of bacteria releasing them into the system. Our specialist spa cleaner can penetrate this and remove it completely, this can be carried out on a monthly basis and will improve the running of the spa and eliminate an unseen risk.

Pool side cleaners
The surrounds of pools can become visually dirty, tiles particularly can look very dirty or stained despite regular cleaning, this is due to scale formation on the tile surface which then traps the dirt and locks it in. Scale is formed when water drips off bodies leaving the pools, contacts the tile and deposits a fine layer. Over a period of time this builds up and traps the dirt. |
A further problem is that this dirt becomes a breeding ground for bacteria particularly Pseudomonas aeruginosa which can then be transferred to pools on feet. This scaling is worse around higher temperature pools like spas and hydro pools due to the reduced solubility of scale with temperature. This can all be removed by using Chlorox AP which is an acid based disinfectant. It removes all the dirt and kills any bacteria leaving the tiles bright and looking like new.
